Background

Addressing “undruggable” intracellular targets in oncology

About us

We are a biopharmaceutical company devoted to the development of a new class of therapeutics to address unmet medical needs in cancer.

Ribeira Sacra

Libera Bio aims at changing cancer therapy by allowing biologics to cross the cell membrane and reach “undruggable” intracellular targets:  the “Holy Grail” in oncology

Libera Bio leverages  its unique proprietary nanotechnology to hold and protect biologicals (e.g., antibodies) in the blood stream following IV administration and to deliver them intracellularly to tumor cells and to metastatic cells

Libera Bio seeks to maximize the use of its technology with oncology biopharma partners, to offer patients new oncology breakthrough treatments based on intracellular delivery of biologics

Programs

Libera Bio is dedicated to developing a new class of therapeutics addressing intracellular disease targets, with an initial focus on cancer. It leverages its Multifunctional Polymeric Nanoparticles (MPN Technology®) to deliver large molecules such as antibodies, with the optional co-delivery of a small molecule agent.

Through independent efforts and strategic collaborations with leading biotech partners, the company is actively advancing potential treatments spanning various types of cancer. Its streamlined and scalable platform has been meticulously designed to seamlessly bridge the gap from preclinical research to clinical development, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our mission to bring transformative therapies to those in need

Partnering

Libera Bio is open to licensing or partnering its MPN Technology® to develop or co-develop new cancer treatments based either on biologics or small molecules. The technology can encapsulate a range of therapeutic payloads, such as monoclonal antibodies, antibody fragments/nanobodies, small molecules, and PROTACs/AbTACs, which creates a broad scope for potential partnerships.
